After more than 7 years experience at Michael Suttor Architects I started Sachs Architecture in 2014.
The gained experience about classical architecture in highly detailed houses which Michael Suttor is renowned for provides a good background to combine this well balanced and proportional architecture with modern environmental and sustainable aspects, which I am really passionate about.
The use of up to date 3D computer modeling software provides a great tool to achieve an optimized building with maximum natural light and ventilation.
Trained and educated in Germany as an architectural draftsman and followed by an architecture degree at the University of Applied Sciences, I worked already in Germany in an architects office designing and building houses as well as office spaces.
To achieve good architecture you need to balance several aspects which are sometimes contra dictionary.
The client's brief , site specifics and aesthetic visions are just a few of them. My primary concern is that the functionality of the building suits the client's needs and therefore I always take the time to listen what the client's intentions and visions are. In one of the early meetings we jointly develop a design brief which satisfies the clients expectations and I can explain the approval and building process as clear and simple as possible to them.
